Strategic PartnerMr. William J. Allison has over 10 years experience working with tribes and tribal members in the arena of finance and economic development. Drawing on his experience, Mr. Allison brings insight, initiative, and ingenuity to the most complex commercial real estate transactions that occur on federal trust land.

He started his professional career with the Tohono O’odham Nation Economic Development Department. In that capacity he assisted small business owners in the grant program, assisted with the formulation of the Tohono O’ Odham Economic Development Authority (EDA), and assisted with the development of the CDFI program for the Nation. In 2002, Mr. Allison found employment with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as an Economic Development Analyst in the Economic Development Division of the tribe’s Community Development Department. In 2003, Mr. Allison was promoted to the role of Acting Economic Development Manager.
Mr. Allison spent 5 and half years with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community as an analyst and acting manger for economic development. In his tenure at the community Mr. Allison developed a small business entrepreneurship program prior to being fully immersed in commercial real estate. Once in commercial real estate he facilitated approximately 5 million developable square feet of mixed-use development working with multiple allotted landowners, developers, community departments, Tribal Council, and the Bureau of Indian Affairs. His commercial leasing experience covers both tribal and allotted land interests. He was instrumental in developing leasing guidelines for the division, provided comment on federal leasing statutes (25 CFR part 162; business & residential), successfully guided the division through federal audits conducted by the Office of Special Trustee (OST), implemented a leasing compliance program, participated in the general plan development for the community, initiated a real estate training program for staff, participated in impact fee study that quantified existing lease square footage (“holding analysis”) and assisted with the formation of the Salt River Financial Services Institution (SRSFI) a Certified Community Development Entity.
Mr. Allison has a plethora of experience in the arena of “Indigenous Economic Development” and “Indigenous Project Management” based on his professional endeavors.

His expertise revolves around “hands on” experience drawn from years of experience working in tribal economic development.
